“Qi is like wind, you can’t see it, but it moves things.”
Mirjam Wagner
Welcoming a yoga practice that has the power to heal from within. To befriend different sensations and feelings. Imagine that you clean out your home: you can open windows that may have been shut for years, allowing fresh air and light into the forgotten places… A pure relief.
Based on acupressure, stimulated through the main meridians, Yin yoga is a contemplative practice, with slow floor postures.
This is a therapeutic and meditative practice to create space on a physical, energetic and emotional level. We find its origins in Taoism (TCM). Fascia is the name for all connective tissues in the body, surrounding muscles, organs, cells and nerve fibers. Our system naturally responds to life events. The essential part of healing is to address a response appropriately. Held and nourished consciously, the applied compression and rebound will free up new space within.
Immerse yourself in a workshop about the Polyvagal theory and Yin yoga. Connected with our Parasympathetic nervous system, this morning is illuminated with time to study, practice, connect and rebound. If you love Yin or if you want to discover this part of the practice too, this one is for you!
This is what you get:
❦ Polyvagal Theory with Yin yoga and organ health
❦ How to self and co regulate the nervous system
❦ Myofascial release techniques
❦ Meditation in motion
❦ Time to integrate
All materials are provided. We include drinks and light snacks. After attendance you’ll receive the workshop PDF and if requested a certificate of attendance. This day is guided in English. Basic Portuguese translation is available if needed.
