“In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.”
John Muir
Take a day to slow down, reconnect with nature, and engage in meaningful activities on our land. This retreat day invites you to step away from daily routines, practice mindfulness, breathe deeply, and give back to the Earth, all while embracing the principles of permaculture.
Mindfulness and Qigong
Begin the day with mindfulness and Qigong, cultivating deeper awareness of the natural world and our connection to it. You will enter the day with a renewed sense of peace and presence, fostering a deeper connection with the land.
On this half moon day, we will introduce planting according to the moon calendar. Together, we’ll spend the day immersed in hands-on, permaculture inspired activities, from exploring medicinal herbs to companion planting, each carried out with mindfulness and care. These practices not only supports the health of our environment but also deepens our connection to the earth, inviting us to live in greater harmony with it.
Every participant will take a medicinal plant home that we cultivated and the embodied experience to walk through life with mindfulness.
Reflection and Closing Circle
The day will close with a reflection circle, allowing time to connect, share insights, and acknowledge the impact of our efforts on both ourselves and the land. This is a space for gratitude and inspiration.
Children Friendly
This retreat day is children friendly, providing a welcoming environment for families to engage with nature together, and feel the energy it gives.
