Discover a yoga practice that has the power to heal from within. To befriend different sensations and feelings that have been hidden. Imagine that you clean out your home: you are opening doors that had been shut for years, letting fresh air and light into forgotten places… Such a clearing relief!
Yin yoga is a therapeutic and quit practice to create more space on a physical, energetic and emotional level. We find its origins in Taoism. It is a contemplative practice based on acupressure, with slower floor postures held for a few minutes. This practice reaches connective tissue, allowing compression and release with mindful awareness.
Fascia is the name for connective tissue and is found everywhere in our body, surrounding our muscles, organs, cells and nerve fibers. Our organs, fascia and nervous system naturally respond to life events. The essential part of healing is to address a response appropriately. When nourished consciously, Yin yoga invites surrender, acceptance and healing into our experience. We stimulate movement through main Meridians where stagnant and deficient QI gets unblocked, so QI can move freely through the body.
Here we embrace the season. Focussing on these elements; earth and water, with meridian circles into metal and fire. Connecting with our Parasympathetic nervous system, which again will reveal a NEW workshop orientation.
In theory and practice:
• Meridians and organ health
• Polyvagal theory with practice
• Myofascial Release Techniques
• Meditation in motion, Divine Yin
