Ayurvedic Cooking Experience

Simple food, seasonal wisdom, and everyday care for your body.

Ayurveda doesn’t need to feel complicated or “perfect.”
It’s actually incredibly simple, practical, and nurturing, using what you already have in your kitchen and building small, sustainable habits over time.
This hands-on workshop is for anyone wanting to cook with more ease, support their digestion, balance their hormones, prevent dis-ease, and feel more grounded through the seasons.
Together, we’ll explore how warm meals, gentle spices, and mindful cooking can help your body regulate stress, stabilize energy, and feel nourished from the inside out.

What We’ll Do Together

Cook Accessible, Seasonal Ayurvedic Meals
We’ll prepare two winter-friendly dishes:

  • Red lentil coconut curry a protein-rich, grounding meal that supports digestion, mood, and women’s hormones. We’ll walk through which spices and veggies best suit each dosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha).
  • Homemade kombucha and you’ll take home your own SCOBY so you can continue brewing easily at home.

These are simple recipes you can repeat on busy days, warming, nourishing, and family-friendly.

Gentle Kitchen Upgrades (Without Overwhelm)

Ayurveda begins in your own kitchen, with what you already have.
We’ll talk about:

  • Easy ingredient swaps
  • A few spices that naturally support digestion
  • How to build an Ayurvedic pantry slowly
  • How to make your meals more grounding and hormone-friendly
  • Ways to nourish your nervous system through food

The goal is not perfection, it’s small, caring steps that make your body feel supported.

Women’s Health & Hormone Support

Throughout the workshop, we’ll explore how food and daily habits influence:

  • Mood and energy
  • PMS and cycle regularity
  • Cravings and blood sugar
  • Perimenopause symptoms
  • Stress and the nervous system

Warm, steady meals are one of the simplest ways to support women’s hormones and bring the body back into balance.

Caring for Your Body Through the Seasons

Since we’re meeting in late January, we’ll explore:

  • How to nurture the body in the cold, heavy months of winter
  • How to gently prepare for the shift into spring
  • Why a mild spring detox helps prevent allergies, congestion, and colds
  • Practical ways to transition between seasons with comfort and ease

Seasonal eating is one of the most supportive and often forgotten tools for resilience.

You’ll Leave With
  • Simple seasonal routines for winter → spring
  • Two easy, delicious Ayurvedic recipes
  • Your own kombucha SCOBY
  • Practical tools for hormone + digestion support
  • A more confident, nurturing relationship with your kitchen
  • A sense of steadiness, warmth, and community
