Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and energetic practice. Based on the Primary series of traditional yoga, popularized by K. Pattabhi Jois.
By practicing Ashtanga yoga we strengthen a healthy body and mindset. Ashtanga purifies the nervous system and organs. Find internal alignment and steadiness through regular practice. Supportive adjustments and modification options are offered. There is space for group sharing. 

On Tuesday we build up to full primary series for more experienced practicioners.
Wednesday offers a collection of key poses for beginners to all levels.
Thursday half primary series offer a good practice to get used to the sequence of Ashtanga yoga.
During full and new moon we practice a Chandra Krama sequence and meditation. 

There is the possibility of combining Ashtanga Yoga classes with Yin Yoga Check the levels of ashtanga classes to see which one suits you better. It is possible to combine Ashtanga with Yin yoga, offering a recommended balance for body and mind. For more information, please contact the teacher. Classes are guided in English and can be partly Portuguese.

Francisca Schouten has been practicing Yoga since 2004 and began teaching in 2014 in the Netherlands, having trained 200 RYT with several teacher trainings in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2015 she began to teach at Budadharma.
